Oh Yeah, Here's Some News

I didn't want to post anything on this blog until I was feeling comfortable enough with our chances for success, but I am as confident as a worrywart can be, so here goes:

I am expecting!

The baby is due on July 15th, although ultrasounds have shown that he or she is about a week further along than my calendar due date.

Needless to say, the upcoming arrival has been a matter of great preoccupation chez Lusignan. We are very excited, nervous, elated, frightened---you know, the average stuff.

I have put together a pregnancy blog, and I must say, it has become harder and harder to keep that one and this one up-to-date. If you are interested in reading some of the pregnancy details, please feel free to check them out here:

I will use this blog to update regular life stuff, like how fantastic it was to have our first houseguests (Carrie, Erik, and Hazel) here over New Year's, or how weird it is to be in improv classes again after a hiatus, or how our house is hopelessly overrun by still-packed boxes from our November move because I'm not really allowed to lift anything, or how the weather here is really freaking me out (60 degrees yesterday, snow today).

Needless to say, 2005 is going to be a real adventure.
